Collaboratory is Delighted to Welcome Three Undergraduate Interns for Spring Semester 2019

This spring semester the Collaboratory is kicking off its first-ever undergraduate intern program. Three excellent students - Josh Batugo, Kari Gillman, and Sarah Leah Thompson - are working on two projects in the Collaboratory this spring. Kari is digitizing and cataloging slides from the Marjorie Venit Slide Collection, and incomparable collection of thousands of personal slides of ancient Mediterranean sites and objects with which the late Marjorie Venit taught classes for years in the Department. Josh and Sarah Leah are getting a hands-on experience with the Department's Study Collection and working on new ways to make this collection more visible and usuable within the Department. Look for a VR experience of their considered designs that hopefully sparks a real solution!

Welcome Josh, Kari, and Sarah Leah!
