Tyler Shine is a first-year graduate student in the Department of Art History and Archaeology. He received his bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013. In addition, he has worked as a curatorial intern for the Contemporary Art and Fine Arts departments at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh. His primary area of research focuses on modern and contemporary art and theory across geographic contexts with a specific interest in the African Diaspora.
