This semester, Kishan will be mapping historical periods in Japan and placemarking capital cities and significant landmarks that correspond to those periods.He plans on tracking this movement by period, and layering periods to show the how capital cities relate chronologically and geographically. Kishan specifically is interested in seeing how this project can be used for pedagogical purposes, specifically in survey courses, such as Arts of Asia.
