Cecilia Wichmann

Cecilia Wichmann is a second year master’s student working on contemporary art and theory. Her current research focuses on sound art. As a graduate assistant in the Michelle Smith Collaboratory for Visual Culture, she has produced a flipped classroom and an online exhibition using the Omeka web-publishing platform. She earned an honors bachelor’s degree in Fine Art History and German from the University of Toronto in 2007.  

Before joining the department, Cecilia managed publicity and marketing for The Phillips Collection, Washington, DC, and held internships at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, University of Toronto Art Centre, and City of Toronto for its 2007 "Nuit Blanche" contemporary art festival.
